The heart of this revolutionary water sanitization system is the Hayward Aqua Rite. You add a small amount of salt to your pool water, making it slightly saline, about half as salty as human tears. Then, an AquaRite Turbo Cell, using a combination of low voltage electricity and high-tech catalysts, breaks down the salt to produce chlorine. Computerized controls monitor the chlorine levels in your pool, and maintain them at ideal levels. As the chlorine does its job of destroying harmful bacteria, it recombines and becomes salt again. The cycle continues as needed, keeping chlorine levels constant without the necessity of adding chlorine to the water.

As additional benefits, your pool stays more algae-free and bacteria-free, while the slightly saline water provides a natural softening effect for your pool water. The water is soft for skin and you never have an excess of chlorine to cause red eyes, itchy skin, or faded swimwear.

The convenient controller lets you monitor and adjust chlorine levels and keeps track of current salinity levels in your pool water. Having installed an OmniLogic system from Hayward, you can control your pool’s functions from anywhere, with Wi-Fi enabled controls. The controller also shows you when the cell is operating and lets you know if you ever need to add salt to the pool.
